The Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes, located in Colonia del Valle, one of Mexico City’s key commercial districts, has officially opened, according to Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H). The hotel offers both domestic and foreign guests a contemporary hotel experience. In addition to Hyatt Regency Mexico City, this opening is the sixth Hyatt Regency-branded hotel in Mexico and the second in Mexico City, highlighting Hyatt’s deliberate plan for building its brands in the area. The hotel is located within a prestigious mixed-use development complex that offers upscale dining options, dynamic event venues for groups of any size, and a seamless experience on one of the city’s most significant streets with parks, plazas, historical sites, and businesses all around.
“This new hotel represents a unique, new build project in the heart of the southern financial district of Mexico City with 24 floors, three curated food and beverage outlets, and contemporary guestrooms equipped for business and leisure travelers,” said Francisco Medina, CEO of the hotel’s ownership group, Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe. “It has been a pleasure working with Hyatt on yet another spectacular project, and we look forward to what’s ahead in the growing region.”
The south of Mexico City’s Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes is the perfect hub for both business and pleasure guests. The hotel is conveniently located next to the World Trade Center Mexico City (WTC), which houses the city’s convention center and Pepsi Center, as well as close to the energetic Condesa and Coyoacan areas. All of the hotel’s spaces are created with productivity in mind. Along with being close by, the main commercial areas like Reforma and Polanco, as well as the Mexico City International Airport, are also easily accessible to visitors.

The 201 expansive guestrooms and suites of the Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes boast floor-to-ceiling windows and the ideal balance of modern and practical room designs. Modern furniture, multipurpose seating and work desk areas, complimentary Wi-Fi, and digital room key entry via the World of Hyatt app are all features of the spacious guestrooms and suites. Additionally, eight of the guestrooms and suites have roomy patios that look out over the Del Valle district. The hotel also provides two spa rooms for massages, a 24-hour fitness facility with free weights and cardio equipment, and other amenities. The Regency Club suites offer complimentary services including shoeshining and ironing as well as unique access to the Regency Club Lounge on the 14th level. The largest mural in Mexico, the La Marcha de la Humanidad mural, painted by David Alfaro Siqueiros on the façade of the historic Polyforum Siqueiros, served as the inspiration for the hotel’s interior design.
Mexican delicacies and seasonal flavors are served in three on-site dining establishments, providing a wide range of choices for everyone to enjoy. Muralis Restaurant offers traditional Mexican food prepared with creativity by a talented culinary staff, led by Daniel Silva, Executive Chef of Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes, and served in a welcoming and joyful environment. Elements Bar & Lounge at the hotel’s lobby restaurant, guests may eat urban Mexican appetizers such short rib tacos and octopus “dobladitas” while taking in views of the city. 7.24 Sky offers a contemporary ambiance on the third-floor open-air terrace along with a bubbles-centric beverage menu that includes a variety of proseccos and champagnes, as well as an array of shared plates and gourmet snacks from around the world. The hotel will also provide daily in-room dining to its visitors.
The Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes has seven multipurpose meeting rooms that can accommodate 20 to 220 guests, and its event space measures 4,628 square feet (460 square meters), making it suitable for meetings of any kind. The Insurgentes Ballroom offers natural light with floor to ceiling windows and a unique view of Polyforum Siqueiros, while the Don Gabriel Ballroom is ideal for a particular business meeting or social event.
