Regardless of their level of immunization, Holland America Line (HAL) no longer requires passengers on “most voyages” to perform a pre-cruise Covid-19 test.
As of right away, unvaccinated passengers on “standard procedure” voyages are no longer required to undergo a test before disembarking.
Additionally, unless a location specifically requests it, visitors will not be forced to show proof of immunization.
Gus Antorcha, president of HAL, said: “Our guests continue to show their excitement to return to cruising, and this is another step toward making it as easy as possible for them to safely explore the world in a way they love.”
Passengers on “enhanced protocol” trips will receive more information regarding protocols based on ports visited, and “standard protocol” voyages now include Panama Canal transits up to 15 nights.
