Holland America Line has added longer trips and new departure ports to its 2024 European itinerary.
The line said that the intervention represented the “largest refresh” of its regional schedule in “a long time,” one that would add a number of new itineraries that would combine regions.
Additionally, dozens of “special itineraries” that are 14 days or longer will be available. Many of these additional excursions, which range in length from seven to 35 days, will be sailed between April and November by the Pinnacle-class ships Nieuw Statendam and Rotterdam.
In order to maximize shore time, HAL will station four ships in Europe in the summer of 2024, together with Oosterdam and Zuiderdam. These ships will use nine overnight stops and provide 33 late-night city departures.
The Baltics, the British Isles, the Canaries, the French and Spanish Rivieras, Israel, the Mediterranean, and Northern Europe, including Iceland, Greenland, and Norway, will all be covered by the program.
Beth Bodensteiner, the chief commercial officer of HAL, said: “Holland America Line’s 2024 European season is the biggest refresh we’ve done in the region in a long time, and we’re excited to feature new itineraries, more voyages that are 14 and 21 days, different departure cities and unique country combinations.”
“We’re also returning to the Canary Islands and Bermuda, and, of course, we’re back in the Med visiting everywhere from Spain to Turkey. Holland America Line’s 2024 season is the most diverse we’ve ever offered.”
