Visit Gibraltar has announced that the passenger location form will be phased out next week.
Arrivals at Gibraltar International Airport will no longer be needed to submit a PLF as of Friday, 18th March. On the same day, the British overseas territory will stop testing visitors arriving via Gibraltar International or Gibraltar Port.
Unvaccinated close contacts of Covid positive patients will no longer be forced to self-isolate as of Friday, 25th March.
Self-isolation will be maintained in Gibraltar for those who test positive for Covid, with a Day 6 and Day 7 testing schedule. This mechanism will be monitored, according to Visit Gibraltar.
Last Friday 4th March, the peninsula’s mandatory mask requirement was lifted. They’re still needed in nursing homes for the elderly and other health and medical facilities.
Visit Gibraltar said, “Gibraltar’s safety has always been an important attraction for our visitors. Now more than ever it is important that you feel secure with us when you decide to return to visit this magnificent destination.
“Here are the current measures that have been implemented and will be taken, to make you feel safe when you visit.”
