Fred Olsen Cruise Lines Launched 106-Night World Cruise for 2025

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has launched a new 106-night World Cruise for 2025 that was motivated by the voyages of renowned historical explorers.

The Bolette will set sail from Southampton on 6th January 2025, and will travel a similar course to that used by Magellan and Elcano during their 1519 tour of the globe.

Martin Lister, director of Fred’s trip experience and itinerary planning. According to Olsen Cruise Lines: “We have a real passion for curating creative and innovative itineraries, and this Grand Voyages really tells a story – retelling the tales of some of history’s greatest adventurers.”

The itinerary for the cruise includes stops in South Africa, French Polynesia, Mauritius, Brazil, and Argentina.

From here, visitors can join a tour to see the Iguazu Falls and enjoy scenic sailing to see snow-capped peaks and sceneries of the Chilean fjords.

Throughout the course of the cruise, passengers will have the opportunity to learn about various societies and civilizations from a cultural perspective and come in contact with a variety of local wildlife, such as Magellanic Penguins in South America, Koalas and Kangaroos in Australia, or the “Big Five” in South Africa.

In addition to free door-to-door transportation up to 250 miles from the port, all guests will receive up to £600 per person to spend onboard. They also have the option to join the ship and return to Liverpool for an additional £400 per person for interior and ocean view cabins or £500 for terrace cabins and suites.

Only to Fred members, Bolette’s 106-night T2505 “A Voyage of Exploration Around the World” trip will be unveiled. On 1st March 2023, tickets for the Oceans club on Olsen Cruise Lines will be made available to the public.

Tickets start at £11,499 per person, and for an extra cost, passengers might choose to leave from and return to Liverpool on 4th January 2025.
