Starting Friday, 14th January, according to a French government official, the country will soften its entrance conditions, which have been prohibiting most travelers from entering the UK since mid-December.
On Thursday morning, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne tweeted that a decree will be published on Friday (14th January) “with immediate entry into effect.”
According to the tweet, the French government is easing entrance requirements for vaccinated visitors from the United Kingdom.
It implies no more “compelling reasons” and no more isolation upon arrival.
A negative test result must be obtained within 24 hours after arrival.
