The United Kingdom has been transferred from the orange to the green list in France, requiring unvaccinated travelers to just present a negative Covid test result.
They used to have to provide a “compelling cause” for their visit, as well as isolate for seven days after they arrived.
They only have to show PCR results 72 hours prior to departure or an antigen test within 48 hours.
Guillaume Bazard, the French consul general in London, confirmed the change on Twitter.
The relaxation comes just in time for the Easter holidays, making travel easier for families with unvaccinated children aged 12 to 17.
Additionally, travelers who have been vaccinated no longer need to submit a “declaration sur l’honneur” (sworn declaration form) proving the absence of Covid symptoms. They can only enter if they have confirmation of vaccination.
