The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) no longer advises against any travel to Cyprus unless it is absolutely necessary. “based on the current assessment of Covid-19 risks”.
The UK, on the other hand, was placed in the red category by the Cyprus government on 8th July due to increased infection rates.
British tourists must take a PCR test within 72 hours after leaving the country and show documentation of a negative result upon entering Cyprus. They must take a new PCR test upon arrival at Larnaca or Paphos airports and remain in self-isolation until the results are released, which should be available online in three hours.
The test costs €30 at the airport in Larnaca and €32 in Paphos.
Passengers must pay for tests, and children under the age of 12 are exempt from the requirements.
Travelers who have proof of two Covid vaccinations are not required to take a PCR test prior to departure, and minors under the age of 12 are also exempt. However, before arriving on the island, all inbound passengers must complete the online Cyprus Flight Path form.
