On board its first ship, Explora I, Explora Journeys unveiled the concepts for its Ocean Penthouses and Ocean Residences.
The information has been made public by MSC Group’s luxury brand in advance of Explora I’s inaugural voyage, which departs Southampton on 17th July.
Ocean Penthouses are 43–68 square meters in size, while Ocean Residences are 70–149 square meters.
Floor to ceiling windows, a private dining area for four, a seating area, a walk-in closet, a dressing table, heated floors in the bathrooms, binoculars, wireless bedside charging, an espresso maker, a kettle, a teapot, and a refillable water bottle are all features of the ship’s 67 Ocean Penthouses.
The 22 Ocean Residences on the ship include separate living, eating, and sleeping quarters in addition to a magnificent oceanfront balcony with a private outdoor tub, dining area, and sun loungers.
Technogym’s in-cabin fitness equipment will be available in every Ocean Penthouse and Ocean Residence.
All 461 of the company’s cabins are referred to as “opulent yet cozy,” according to the line, which claims that important passengers enjoy an onboard stay.
Explora Journeys’ head of product, Jason Gelineau, stated: “Environmental respect and sustainability have been key in design choices, ensuring a balance between the tactile and visual experience of every material used.
“Eco-friendly details such as refillable bathroom amenities have also been weaved into the suite offering and, where feasible, we are sourcing sustainable products including B Corp-certified items.
“We will also have a no single-use plastic policy on board.”
