The Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge will open in June, according to Lark Hotels. The cosy and rustic lodge, the newest addition to the expanding portfolio of Bluebird by Lark properties, was designed in the style of the 1970s and serves as a basecamp for visitors wishing to experience the renowned mountain biking and outdoor adventures of Vermont’s Green Mountains. The Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge will complement Lark’s two current properties in Stowe, Vermont, Tälta Lodge, a Bluebird by Lark, and Field Guide, by providing guests with a variety of accommodation types and imaginative meeting areas. The Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge is now taking reservations and will open on 7th June 2023. It is situated close to some of the most beautiful trails in the area for summer visitors.
The alpine lodge, created by Elder & Ash, draws inspiration from its surroundings with birch plywood panelled walls and accents in deep green. There are 55 total accommodations at Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge, comprising 53 roomy guestrooms and two independent houses, Tall Timbers and Horizon Cabin. Tall Timbers accommodates up to five people and has two bedrooms, a full kitchen, a living room, wood burning fireplace, and a private porch. It also features nostalgic, retro elements that pay homage to the ’70s. Up to eight guests can stay in Horizon, which has three bedrooms, two twin beds built into the second-floor eaves, a full kitchen, a living area, a gas fireplace, and a private terrace. The eclectic lodge is furnished with items from an old catalogue along with artwork and decorations from the area. There are also Persian carpets and leather couches. An on-site bar, the Great Room, indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, outdoor fire pits and a gaming room with classic games for both adults and children are all available to Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge visitors.
Stowe, famed for its lovely small-town New England vibe, is a tranquil, all-season getaway for outdoor enthusiasts, offering hiking, skiing, and world-class mountain biking. The Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge, located at the foot of the largest peak of the Green Mountains, is just 10 minute’s walk from the laid-back community of Stowe and five miles from Vermont’s highest ski mountain. Due to the lodge’s proximity to Cady Hill Forest, visitors can also enjoy easy access to some of the greatest backcountry routes in the region. There are on-site bike repair facilities and everything needed for gear storage for tourists looking for adventure.
Bluebird by Lark began operations in 2021, and since then, it has established properties in New York (Bluebird Lake Placid, Bluebird Hunter Lodge, and Bluebird Spa City Lodge), Massachusetts (Bluebird Dennisport, Bluebird Parker Beach Lodge), New Hampshire (Bluebird Sunapee), and Vermont (Talta Lodge Bluebird). The most recent announcement from Bluebird by Lark was the June opening of the Bluebird Ocean Point Inn in Boothbay Harbour, Maine. In less than three years, Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge becomes the eighth hotel to open in the Bluebird family.
