A fourth London-Netherlands route has been added by Eurostar, and it will run every day from Monday through Friday.
The new 6.16am service, which will start operating on 5th September and have a daily capacity increase of up to 3,600 passengers, will stop in Rotterdam en route to Amsterdam.
This, according to Eurostar, is the same as 18 flights.
Thus, from Monday through Friday, there will be four departure times from St. Pancras International for Eurostar’s London-Amsterdam services: 6.16am, 8.16am, 11.04am, and 6.04pm.
On Saturdays and Sundays, the 8.16 and 11.04 am services are also available, as is the 6.04 pm session.
Amsterdam is slightly under four hours away while Rotterdam is about three hours away.
Monday through Friday, returns leave Amsterdam at 7.47am, 1.47pm, 4.47pm, and 6.47pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, the 1.47 and 4.47 pm services are also available, as is the 6.47 pm session.
Eurostar’s head of the Amsterdam route, Els Buzzi, stated: “The ever-growing demand for high-speed trains between the Netherlands and the UK shows that both business and leisure travellers appreciate the convenience and comfort of travelling by Eurostar.
“The fourth service will give our customers even more choice and flexibility when planning their journey, safe in the knowledge that Eurostar is the greener way to go from city centre to city centre.”
