Thirteen countries and territories have been added to the list of areas where travelers can use the EU Digital Covid Certificate to show their vaccination status, according to the government.
Travelers from Albania, Andorra, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Israel, Jersey, Moldova, Monaco, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Panama, and Turkey can use the EU Digital Covid Certificate for proof of vaccination status in the UK passenger locator form, according to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office website.
Changes to the list by the Department of Transport and the Department of Health and Social Care have resulted in the additions.
The restrictions for entering England vary depending on whether or not the person is completely vaccinated.
Travelers must have proof of immunization with a full course of an approved vaccine to qualify under the fully vaccinated requirements.
The proof must have been granted by one of the nations or territories mentioned on the FCO website, the UK or UK overseas vaccination program, the UN vaccine program for staff and volunteers, or one of the countries or territories listed on the FCO website.
Those who have not had all of their vaccinations must adhere to different restrictions.
The FCO website also lists the permitted vaccines and states that travelers must have completed a full course of vaccinations at least 14 days prior to their arrival.
