Ennismore to Open Two Property in Ibiza in June 2023

The first hotels built by Ennismore on the Spanish island of Ibiza will be the Mondrian Ibiza and Hyde Ibiza, which will debut in June 2023 on the island’s seafront.

With the opening of two new Mondrian and Hyde hotels on the island of Ibiza, Ennismore, the fastest-growing lifestyle hospitality brand, and Grupo Azul Mar Cala Llonga, owned by Apollo, announce the extension of their worldwide collective in Spain.

In June 2023, Mondrian Ibiza and Hyde Ibiza, which will have nine dining and drinking establishments as well as highly planned pool areas, nightlife, and music venues, are scheduled to open on the picturesque bay of Cala Llonga. With 15 hotels set to open across Europe in 2023, the initiative is a reflection of Ennismore’s substantial growth in the area.

MONDRIAN IBIZA

The Mondrian Ibiza will be a luxury lifestyle hotel when it opens, with 154 roomy guestrooms and three cutting-edge dining options, and will be ideally situated on the east side of Ibiza, facing the picturesque bay of Cala Llonga. The Beades Architects and Cuarto Interior-designed hotel will run seasonally from mid-June to mid-October. The oceanfront hotel will include two pools with ocean views and rooms with Mediterranean Sea views. Colorful accents can be seen in both public and private settings, and there is a strong art program. Hotel guests and residents alike may immerse themselves in the best of the city at Mondrian properties, which are constantly at the center of the most fascinating and cultural scenes in the globe.

In a legendary setting, Mondrian Ibiza will provide unique experiences. An wide patio with bay views, VIP fire pits, and a transportive, deep blue greeting room are among the public spaces.

A highly sought-after collection of culinary options will be housed in Mondrian Ibiza, including NIKO, a traditional, subtle, and tranquil Japanese restaurant that specializes in fine sushi and overlooks the bay. The Perq will be a day-to-night coffee bar that will provide direct trade coffee, tea, fresh fruit, smoothies, and juices made with ethically sourced ingredients along with delectable baked goodies during the day and local beers and natural wines at night. The all-day coffee and cocktail bar Sun & Moon will serve light fare and drinks with an Australian-inspired comfort cuisine and regional mixology flair.

HYDE IBIZA

The vivacious Hyde Ibiza, which will have 401 guest rooms, will be situated next to Mondrian Ibiza and tucked away in a superb coastal location overlooking the lovely coastline of Cala Llonga. From mid-June until mid-October, the hotel will be open seasonally. Highly interactive public spaces created by the Spanish design studios Beades Architects and Cuarto Interior will offer a chance to network and learn about engaging pop-ups, partnerships, and programming.

While suites will have enhanced materiality and expansive views of the Balearic Islands, guest rooms will have a bohemian chic style with an earthy sensibility through natural textures, handcrafted millwork, and artisan touches like a table inspired by Ibiza jewelry. Warm timbers, timbered details, hand-crafted decorations, and social aspects like a trademark giant sofa in the lobby are included in the design.

Hyde Ibiza will have five different food and drink establishments, including an ocean-to-table restaurant showcasing the bounty of the Balearics; a lounge-style pool bar with classics that taste best with the sun on your skin and saltwater in your hair; a day club with cabanas, cocktails, and international DJ sets; and a nightclub with cabanas, cocktails, and live music performances from around the world; Hyde Ibiza will bring to the island a thriving pool scene along with a highly sought-after laid-back live music venue, acting as a nexus for both local and outside performers alike.

Carte Blanched, a pioneering in-house group of chefs and mixologists at Ennismore, has chosen the menus for both Mondrian Ibiza and Hyde Ibiza.
