On 1st February, Emirates arrived in Cape Town for a second daily flight as part of its attempts to keep up with the rise in travel and to help the local tourism industry.
Emirates’ dedication to promoting inbound tourism and increasing trade between the UAE and South Africa is demonstrated by the return of a second flight. In order to jointly promote tourism and encourage visitors to take advantage of the wealth of attractions and opportunities the nation has to offer, Emirates and the South African Tourism Board signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the beginning of the previous year.
The extra frequency will improve business opportunities by giving travelers more access to Cape Town. There are already daily flights between Dubai and the commercial center, Johannesburg. Boeing B777-powered Emirates aircraft EK773 took off from Cape Town at 13:25, whereas EK771 took off from Cape Town at 18:25. Depending on the clients’ chosen arrival times, this plan allows them greater flexibility and travel options. All time local.
Emirates now offers 35 weekly flights to South Africa, with two daily flights to Cape Town and Johannesburg and one trip per week between Dubai and Durban, thanks to the addition of a second CPT-DXB aircraft.
Emirates has brought back all fourteen flights on the Dubai-Cape Town route, completely restoring intercontinental operations to pre-pandemic levels. Over the course of its more than 27-year history, Emirates has served South Africa, bringing millions of tourists there and back via Dubai and the rest of its extensive worldwide network. It has been a steadfast ally of the African republic and the entire continent, lending its services for trade, tourism, and civil aviation.
