Emirates Honours Easter Festivities this April

Emirates is honoring Easter celebrations this April with a variety of new family-friendly ice movies, warm hot cross bun baskets served onboard, and traditional lamb dishes in the lounges.

A delectable assortment of Easter delicacies will be served onboard Emirates flights from 7th April through 10th April in all travel classes to destinations such as Australia, the United States, Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom, Brazil, the Philippines, South Africa, Mauritius, and Ghana. Warm hot cross buns or a decadent carrot cake with tres leches sauce will be served to Economy Class passengers with their meals, while chocolate cakes topped with redcurrants and smooth ganache or strawberry cheesecakes adorned with chic mini-Easter eggs will be served to First, Business, and Premium Economy passengers. Passengers can also indulge themselves to classic Easter simnel fruitcake with marzipan in the A380 Onboard Lounge. Other treats, including the adored Easter dessert Kulich bread, will be offered on routes to Russia and Greece for Orthodox Easter, which takes place from 14th – 17th April. All students will receive an Easter egg-shaped, brilliantly colored “Happy Easter” biscuit.

Across Emirates’ global network of prestigious lounges, passengers will enjoy classic Easter fare in most locations such as lamb chops with roasted potatoes and carrots in orange jus in the First-Class Lounges of Dubai, or roasted lamb leg with dates, green olives and pomegranate in the US, pistachio-crusted lamb cutlets, with red bell peppers, olive oil coulis and spring market vegetables in Singapore, or a classic herb crusted lamb with chargrilled leeks, baby potatoes, cherry tomatoes and a tangy mint sauce in the UK.

In addition to more than 5,000 channels of on-demand entertainment, 1,900 movies, 1,500 hours of TV, music, podcasts, and audiobooks in 40 languages are all available to Emirates customers flying over Easter. With brand-new children’s films like Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, The Tiger Rising, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, Tad the Lost Explorer, and the Emerald Tablet coming in April, families can enjoy the best films and programming from Cartoon Network, CBeebies, and Nickelodeon channels.
