Emirates Airlines Adds Third Daily Flight to Gatwick

Days after deciding to limit sales of flights from Heathrow until the middle of next month, Emirates Airlines has added a third daily flight to its Gatwick itinerary for a week.

According to the airline, the daily route will offer extra seats to accommodate Emirates travellers impacted by capacity changes on flights out of Heathrow.

The extra trip will operate from 27th July to 3rd August using a wide-body Emirates Boeing 777.

Emirates decided earlier this week to extend the sales restriction on its Heathrow flights through the middle of August.

Customers who will be impacted by Heathrow capacity changes will be contacted directly by the airline or their travel agent.

The airline stated that it was “closely” coordinating with agents to reschedule any disrupted bookings.

Emirates plans to operate six daily flights to and from Heathrow through the middle of August before resuming service to and from Stansted on 1st August.
