Emerald Cruises’ newest Star-Ship vessel debuted with an eight-day river tour through Holland and Belgium in Bloom.
The Emerald Luna’s inaugural voyage takes place in the line’s seventh year of operation.
Emerald’s ninth Star-Ship features a three-tier atrium as well as a heated pool that converts into a cinema.
On 21st July, Luna will be inaugurated alongside sister ships Emerald Sun, Emerald Sky, Emerald Star, Emerald Dawn, and Emerald Destiny in Amsterdam.
Sailings are available on Europe’s Rhine, Main, Moselle, and Danube rivers.
The 132-passenger Emerald Liberté sails the Rhône and Saône in France, the 112-passenger Emerald Radiance sails the Douro in Portugal, and the 84-passenger Emerald Harmony sails the Mekong in Vietnam and Cambodia.
The Global Director of brand and marketing, David Winterton, said: “Emerald Luna marks a new, exciting addition to our growing fleet.
“While bookings remain strong for this spring and summer and with Europe continuing to be a popular destination for both new-to-cruise and loyal guests, the launch of Emerald Luna allows more opportunity for our trusted agent partners to sell experiences on Europe’s rivers.”
