This summer, EasyJet will launch a new route from Gatwick to the Croatian island of Krk.
From the 3rd of May, flights will fly twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The new route will be available for purchase later this week.
The increase comes as the airline approaches its 20th year of service from Gatwick.
Over the last two decades, the airline is said to have transported more than 200 million people to and from London Airport, and has added more than 1.1 million additional seats for next summer.
Over the last 20 years, Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK national manager, said the airline has “remained committed” to “offering even more choice” for its passengers flying to and from the airport.
“We recently added over a million extra seats from the airport for next summer and new routes such as our new flights to Krk off the coast of Croatia, continuing to provide passengers with an ever-greater range of destinations,” Gayward added.
