EasyJet Launched Covid-19 Travel Hub

EasyJet has unveiled a Covid-19 Travel Hub on its website, which provides rules for flights to and from the carrier’s European network of 35 countries.

The interactive restrictions chart, which includes the most recent travel guidelines, aims to make the planning process “more seamless.”

When searching for common destination styles such as beaches, city breaks, outdoor getaways, and business travel, it provides real-time information.

The tool includes information on entry restrictions, quarantine steps, Covid-19 checks, vaccine information, testing laboratories, appropriate forms, health insurance, and connecting flights.

Customers in the UK can also use an online traffic light information page developed by EasyJet and easyJet holidays to help them navigate the green, amber, and red list destination requirements.

“We want to help our customer navigate through the various travel requirements and restrictions so they can feel confident about making their booking this summer.” Sophie Dekkers, chief commercial officer at easyJet said.

“Our new Covid-19 Travel Hub will really help to equip them with the resources and tools they need to plan their next trip.”

She added: “We also expect the number of countries on the green list to grow next month to enable safe travel to many of our popular European summer destinations, and we have flexible policies so customers can book with confidence and change their plans if they need to.”

The airline cited a recent report by leading epidemiologists that suggested the UK government should classify far more of Europe as green.

According to the findings, travel from many European countries has no effect on the UK case rate, and travel to Europe has a negligible impact on hospitalizations in the UK.

EasyJet has collaborated with licensed testing companies across Europe to provide customers with access to tests, including PCR tests, starting at £60.
