As part of its 30th-anniversary celebrations, Disneyland Paris will stage its first-ever drone exhibition on 6th March.
Guests will be able to participate in the event, which will feature 200 drones, prior to the Disney Illuminations display.
The new pre-show, dubbed Disney D-Light, will use video projections, lit water jets, lighting effects, mist, Disney music, and drone choreography to “provide an additional touch of magic surrounding the iconic castle,” which has been rebuilt especially for the occasion.
The synchronized drones will form a shimmering figure “30” in the sky above Sleeping Beauty Castle, with the new 30th-anniversary theme music “Un monde qui s’illumine” playing in the backdrop.
It will be the first time that a Disney Park uses drone technology in an outdoor show above its castle.
A fresh spectacle will be presented every day on Central Plaza in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle to commemorate the occasion.
It will feature more than 30 Disney characters and dancers, as well as new colorful floats and a distinctive soundtrack, and will be divided into three themes.
