The flights will launch later this year although the airline has not yet committed to an exact date. Boston will be United’s 19th daily flight between London Heathrow and the United States.
The flight timings will be:
– London Heathrow to Boston departing at 17:00 and arriving at 19:30.
– Boston to London Heathrow departing 22:00 and arriving 09:35 the following morning.
The airline will operate a Boeing 767-300ER on the route. The aircraft features 46 of the airlines signature Polaris business class seats, 22 “Premium Plus” seats , 47 Economy Plus extra legroom seats and 52 economy class seats.
The exact launch date of the flights will not become clear until tickets go on sale which the airline has said will be “in the coming weeks”.
“We are thrilled to offer travellers a convenient, non-stop option between London and Boston with this addition to our global network,” said Patrick Quayle, United’s vice president of International Network and Alliances.
“We will continue to monitor the demand recovery and travel restrictions as we finalise a start date for this service later in 2021.”
