Cyprus Removed Requirement for Pre-Departure Testing for Fully Vaccinated Visitors

For fully vaccinated newcomers, Cyprus has removed the requirement for pre-departure testing.

The restriction took effect on 21st February, according to the UK Foreign Office (FCDO), which updated its travel advice today.

All passengers aged 12 and up must, however, perform a PCR test upon arrival at the airport. This is at the passenger’s expense, which can range from €15 to €19.

Arrivals are advised to self-isolate at their lodging until their results are received, which should be within three hours. If a test is positive, tourists must stay self-isolated until the Cypriot Ministry of Health issues guidelines.

Visitors to Cyprus may also be asked to do a second fast Covid test 72 hours after arriving at a mobile unit. Those who provide a boarding permit at the testing site will not be charged. These tests are not required for those who have had a booster shot.

Before traveling to Cyprus, all passengers must fill out a Cyprus Flight Pass.

The NHS App in the United Kingdom is recognized as proof of vaccination status. Vaccination must have occurred at least 14 days before departure.

Bahrain, on the other hand, no longer requires all visitors to do a PCR test upon arrival.

The new rule took effect on Sunday, 2oth February.

All passengers arriving in the kingdom are no longer required to pass through quarantine.

Vaccination certification may, however, be required for access to select locations.

The UK Foreign Office has amended its travel advice for Bahrain, stating that the requirements apply to visitors arriving via the King Fahd Causeway Bridge, which connects Bahrain to Saudi Arabia.

The first Formula One race of the season will take place in Bahrain from 18th to 20th March.
