Five ships will be used by CroisiEurope to run nine-day cruises between Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Siem Reap, Cambodia.
The French cruise line operator claims that on 7th August, it will be the first line to travel on the river since ships ceased going there at the beginning of the outbreak.
Southeast Asia’s canal passes through six nations, including Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
On the Mekong, CroisiEurope will operate the RVs Indochine 1, Indochine 2, Lan Diep, Toum Tiou 1, and Toum Tiou 2. The ships can accommodate between 20 to 62 passengers.
Each ship has a dining room that serves both Asian and Western cuisine, an air-conditioned lounge, a sun deck, roomy staterooms, and a massage room.
The nine-day cruises will have destinations to Cambodia and Vietnam’s Chau Doc, Sa Dec, Vinh Long, Cai Be, and My Tho call in Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Tralach, Koh Chen, and Phnom Penh.
The itineraries include stops at the Angkorian monuments and the floating communities on Tonle Sap Lake.
