Corsair Hospitality Group has announced the opening of The Pensacola Beach Resort, a high-end hotel located on Florida’s Emerald Coast. This transformation marks the beginning of a new era in hospitality, offering 161 waterfront guest rooms, including 24 Executive King rooms with balconies that wrap around, as well as public spaces inspired by the coast, an elevated pool deck, a fresh restaurant concept, retail options, a beach bar, and a carefully curated art collection showcasing impressionist maritime images, paying homage to the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the local boating culture. As the only resort in the region exclusively accessible to its hotel guests, this property will serve as a gateway to the area’s natural beauty, providing immersive experiences, exceptional guest service, and an atmosphere of leisure and enjoyment.
Situated on more than 800 feet of gulf-front property, the resort boasts breathtaking 360-degree water views of the Gulf of Mexico, Little Sabine Bay, and the Intracoastal Waterway. Drawing inspiration from the renowned sugar-white sand beaches and sparkling turquoise waters, the hotel’s elegant coastal design incorporates various shades of blue, complemented by touches of rum-colored woods and gold accents. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed by West Indies-style furniture arranged in the expansive lobby, creating a social and versatile space where everyone can find their perfect spot to admire the panoramic vistas of the Gulf of Mexico.
The Pensacola Beach Resort features a raised pool deck that overlooks the Gulf, providing an exclusive and tranquil oasis for hotel guests to bask in the Florida sun. The pool deck is also home to a Tiki Bar, serving refreshing drinks and specialty cocktails with an island twist.
Exclusively available to hotel guests, Windrose, the resort’s newly rebranded restaurant, derives its name from Pensacola’s rich maritime heritage. It offers upscale yet casual dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu combines classic hotel dishes with coastal cuisine inspired by the flavors of the Southern region. Guests can start their day with options like avocado toast or French toast for breakfast and savor delectable dishes such as blackened mahi-mahi or grouper paired perfectly with a glass of wine for dinner.
Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, the resort is also home to The Salty Rose, a lively beach bar and grill that takes its name from traditional sailor hangouts. While open to the public, it serves as a gathering place for both guests and locals, offering island music, beach games, and a menu featuring fresh salads, local fish sandwiches, and loaded nachos. The Salty Rose hosts a variety of events throughout the year, providing hotel guests with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture and truly embrace the paradise lifestyle.
The Pensacola Beach Resort offers a multitude of activities for families and guests of all ages. Hotel guests have access to a private boardwalk leading to the Gulf of Mexico beach, where they can rent beach chairs and umbrellas. Additionally, there is a private dock on Little Sabine Bay, allowing guests to indulge in kayaking or paddleboarding. For a unique wildlife experience, guests can reserve daytime or sunset Dolphin Cruises aboard an open-air powerboat, providing an opportunity to observe one of the largest populations of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat.
