Cignpost ExpressTest has inaugurated a screening center in central London’s Victoria train station.
Travelers and other symptomless members of the public who do not require NHS emergency testing will benefit from the facility.
Antigen lateral flow fit to fly tests start at £35, and PCR fit to fly testing start at £80. Within 90 minutes, the fastest service will send PCR test results.
While the UK government has stated that vaccinated travelers arriving in the UK after 4 a.m. on February 11 will no longer be required to take a day two test, many international destinations still require a negative test to enter. It is not possible to use free NHS quick tests for foreign travel.
Cignpost is currently offering antigen lateral flow day 2 testing for arrivals into the UK, starting at £35.
Nick Markham, the company’s founder, stated: “This new site at Victoria in London is an exciting addition to our services based across the UK.
“We’re pleased to bring government approved Covid-19 screening services to the local community; whether for personal or business travel, we deliver gold-standard PCR and lateral flow tests at reasonable cost.”
Victoria station has direct train connections to Gatwick airport, with fast trains arriving in under 35 minutes.
Heathrow, Gatwick, and Reading are among the other ExpressTest locations.
