After a 930-day absence brought on by the Covid-19 epidemic, Celebrity Cruises has resumed operations in Australasia.
Celebrity Eclipse departed Sydney on Saturday, 22nd October, for a 12-night voyage that included a tour of New Zealand’s attractions.
This trip marks the first of 17 sailings that Celebrity Eclipse will make from Sydney and Auckland through April 2023. These sailings will take place in South Pacific, Australian, and New Zealand waters.
“Celebrity Eclipse is the first Celebrity ship to sail this region for 930 days – a momentous occasion for the brand and our team members who have worked so hard to get to this point,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and chief executive of Celebrity Cruises.
Highlights of Celebrity’s “Down Under” season for 2022–2023 include trips to Auckland and Fiji as well as private yacht charters, helicopter rides, cuisine and wine itineraries, overnight stays in Hobart, Cairns, and Adelaide.
