The Carnival Spirit is now providing a 16-night Panama Canal to the Pacific Northwest sailing and is scheduled to operate in Alaska throughout the summer.
On 16th April, the Carnival Cruise Line ship departed Miami for its repositioning cruise after finishing its Caribbean winter program. The one-way route includes stops at ports in Colombia, Costa Rica, and Mexico while cruising all the way to Seattle.
Before arriving in Washington, the Carnival Spirit will make a full transit of the Panama Canal and stop in at Cartagena de Indias, Santa Marta, Puntarenas, and Cabo San Lucas.
The ship, which was completed in 2001, will then begin its Alaskan summer schedule.
The Spirit will start offering a series of seven-night voyages to the Last Frontier on 2nd May that also include stops in Canada.
The ship will stop at a number of well-known locations in the area over the four-month program, including Skagway, Ketchikan, and Juneau.
The Carnival Spirit, which departs from Seattle roundtrip, also provides excursions to Victoria and beautiful cruises around the Tracy Arm Fjord.
The itinerary is a part of the 49-departure, three-ship summer season in Alaska offered by Carnival, which also includes the Carnival Luminosa and the Carnival Miracle.
The Carnival Spirit will run a second Panama Canal trip after its September Alaskan itinerary is over. The ship’s 16-night repositioning cruise, which departs from Seattle for New Orleans, comes before her premiere in Mobile.
The Spirit will operate a variety of itineraries out of the Alabama port during the winter of 2023–2024.
The cruises, which last six to eight nights, travel to various locations in the Caribbean and the Bahamas, such as Mexico, Honduras, and Belize. The cruise will stop in at Bimini, Freeport, Nassau, and Princess Cays in the Bahamas.
The Carnival Spirit first went into operation in 2001 as the head vessel of the Spirit Class. The 2,100-passenger ship was followed by the Carnival Pride, the Carnival Legend, and the Carnival Miracle. The 2,100-passenger ship was built with a multi-deck atrium, a glass-enclosed pool deck, and a large number of cabins with private balconies.
