The hotel was created by renowned interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán in a totally renovated neoclassical structure from 1924, drawing inspiration from the area’s varied character and mixing exquisite and modern aesthetics with a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. This handcrafted object served as the primary source of inspiration for the hotel’s design, which is situated on a street called “Montera,” which is a nod to the hat worn with traditional Spanish attire. The characteristic valet stands found in every room, door knobs, the trimmings of the headboards on the beds, team member outfits, and artwork displayed in the hallways and public areas all evoke a unique story.
