The Bulgari Resort Ranfushi, which is slated to debut in 2025, will be Bulgari Hotels & Resorts’ thirteenth establishment.
The Bulgari Resort Ranfushi, whose name in Maldivian translates to “Little Gold Island,” will be situated in the Raa Atoll, 45 minutes by seaplane from the Male airport of the Maldives.
With 54 villas, including the Bulgari Villa on a separate, exclusive island, the resort will cover 20 hectares. There will be 20 overwater villas in addition to the 33 beach villas, each with a private pool.
Visitors will have access to four restaurants. The Italian eatery Il Ristorante – Niko Romito was founded by three-star chef Niko Romito, and the Chinese fine-dining spot Bao Li Xuan is the exact replica of the two-star restaurant in the Bulgari Hotel Shanghai. In the Bulgari Resort Dubai, there is already a Japanese concept called Hoseki, and La Spiaggia will also provide Italian beach food.
In addition, the resort will have a Bulgari Bar, a Bulgari Spa, a fitness facility, and a yoga pavilion. As a part of sustainability efforts, a nesting island was constructed.
Bulgari’s chief executive, Jean-Christophe Babin, said: “We are particularly proud to have secured such an extraordinary location for the new Bulgari Resort Ranfushi, as the Maldives are a key destination for our clients from all over the world.
“We are convinced this new gem of a hospitality addition will ensure once again the highest levels of quality and innovation to our international customers and we look forward to sharing with them the Bulgari values in hospitality at this new, very exclusive location.”
