British Airways’ New Wine Partner

The Wine Flyer, which British Airways and IAG Loyalty will introduce on 4th October 2022, has been given the go-ahead. Members of the Executive Club loyalty program of British Airways will be able to earn up to 10 Avios for every £1 spent on more than 140 different types of wine at this specialized online merchant. Additionally, you may use your Avios to buy wine.

Considering codeshares, it’s not difficult to find a country on British Airways’ international network that produces each wine in the collection. Pricing for luxury labels including Whispering Angel, Penfolds, and Mot & Chandon is available starting at less than £10 per bottle. There will also be beer, liquor, and non-alcoholic drinks available.

Some of the wines were chosen because they have previously been served on British Airways flights or will do so in the future, such as Teusner’s “The Riebke” Shiraz, which has been served in the premium cabins.

Customers who make one-time purchases earn 5 Avios for every £1 they spend on their entire basket value, and those who choose the subscription option earn 10 Avios for every £1 they spend. Up until 31st December 2022, there will be a special introductory deal that will give 10 Avios for every £1 spent on one-time purchases and 15 Avios for every £1 spent on subscriptions.

Wine cases of six can be purchased for as little as 8,000 Avios, and there will be options to pay with both cash and Avios.
