Bermuda is using updated Covid-19 guidelines in order to simplify the process for vaccinated travelers arriving on the island.
According to the Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA), the amended restrictions will continue to safeguard the safety of all citizens and visitors while also making it more convenient for tourists.
Within two days after landing on the island, all guests will be required to produce documentation of current vaccination status and a negative Covid-19 test result – either antigen or PCR.
According to the new protocols:
For bookings made before 20th February, a special offer with hotel and resort discounts of up to 50% has been extended.
Charles Jeffers, the BTA’s chief executive, stated: “We welcome visitors from around the world with travel guidelines that ensure their safety as well as their convenience, and our updated protocols will make visiting Bermuda even easier.
“Our hotels and local businesses are open with the Bermudian hospitality for which we are known. There’s never been a better time to visit.”
Douglas Trueblood, the company’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer added: “People are ready to travel, and Bermuda is eager to welcome them back.”
