Three more Michelin stars have been given to the Barcelo Hotel Group, raising its total in Spain to five.
The 2023 Spain and Portugal Michelin Guide awarded the hotel chain several culinary accolades. The Royal Hideaway Hotel La Bobadilla’s restaurant La Finca was given one star, making it the first restaurant in the Andalucian region of Granada to do so.
Barcelo now possesses the most Michelin stars for one firm on the islands with the addition of four new and existing stars to restaurants in the Canary Islands.
The Royal Hideaway Corales Resort in Tenerife’s Peruvian-Japanese fusion restaurant San Ho was awarded its first star, recognizing the talents of the island’s young chefs Adrian Bosch and Eduardo Dominguez.
El Rincon de Juan Carlos, a Tenerife restaurant owned by brothers Juan Carlos and Jonathan Padron, has been awarded a second Michelin star at the Royal Hideaway Corales Resort.
The Padron brothers’ restaurant Poemas in the Santa Catalina, a Royal Hideaway hotel in Gran Canaria, has kept its Michelin star. The city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria received its first star when it was attained last year.
