Barbados Removed All Covid Entry Requirements on Foreign Travelers

Barbados no longer imposes any Covid entry requirements on foreign travelers.

Barbados has ceased enforcing all Covid-related travel regulations as of 22nd September, putting it into compliance with the majority of other Caribbean nations.

Prior to that, travelers who arrived unvaccinated had to provide documentation of a negative test result obtained within three days of departure, while those who were completely jabbed had to present a certificate of vaccination.

In addition, there are no longer any indoor areas that require face masks to be worn.

Only those who work in, attend, or are on public transportation as well as healthcare facilities, nursing homes, or hospitals are still required to wear masks.

Lisa Cummins, the minister of tourism and international transportation, said: “This is the last step for us which reflects our position as fully open for business following the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We look forward to continuing to welcome visitors to our shores to experience all of the new and returning events slated for the rest of the year and into early 2023.”
