Barbados has relaxed its entry requirements for guests who are fully vaccinated, with the modifications taking effect on Sunday (24th October).
Travelers who are fully vaccinated and have a negative Covid-19 PCR test result will no longer be needed to undergo a second Covid-19 PCR test or follow a quarantine period upon arrival in Barbados.
Health officials at Grantley Adams International Airport, the island’s international gateway, may choose fully vaccinated visitors at random for a quick antigen arrival test.
These passengers must take the free speedy arrival test at the airport, wait for the findings, then leave the airport using only allowed conveyance.
Unvaccinated travelers must still present a negative Covid-19 test result obtained no more than three days prior to arrival; depart the airport using only approved transportation; quarantine for five days at approved lodging; and, after quarantine, take a mandatory second Covid-19 PCR test at one of the approved labs or testing hotels located throughout the island at their own expense.
They must remain in quarantine until the second Covid-19 PCR test results are received.
