For the inaugural season of Azamara’s fourth ship, Azamara Onward, Azamara is providing 22 European itineraries and three land experiences.
The debut and christening trip of Azamara Onward will take place in April 2022, sailing from Monte Carlo to Venice.
The brand’s ‘Country-Intensive’ itineraries, which allow for extra time on land, will account for half of all cruises. Across Europe, the program includes 85 “late nights” and 21 overnight stays.
“We are thrilled to introduce our fourth ship to our guests and travel partners next year and welcome them to join us for the christening of Azamara Onward on her maiden voyage,” Carol Cabezas, the line’s president said.
“As the leader in destination-immersion, we look forward to connecting our guests with people and cultures of the world and bringing guests to smaller, unique ports which are only accessible to smaller ships.”
Onward’s first deployment will also include a series of “exotic trips” spanning from seven to fifteen nights in length, with stops in places like the Black Sea and Odessa, Ukraine.
Land tours include a four-night pre-cruise trip to Turkey’s Wonderous Cappadocia, a two-night Stay Local in Istanbul, and a five-night pre- or post-cruise Mythological Greece trip that includes the Acropolis and the Sanctuary of Delphi, as well as archaeological sites in Athens, Olympia, Delphi, and Cape Sounion.
When you book Onward before 16th July, 2021, Azamara will give you a free Experience More Essentials Package that includes a $300 shore excursion onboard credit, unrestricted Wi-Fi for one device, and a Premium Beverage Package for two on select cabins and suites.
Under Azamara’s Cruise with Confidence program, guests can switch to any sailing until 30th April, 2022 if they book before 31st July, 2021.
