In Shoal Bay, Ani Private Resorts will debut a 15-suite estate with a spa, waterslide, tennis court, and gym in 2024.
It will be the company’s second retreat in Anguilla and its sixth overall. The newcomer will be located in Shoal Bay, further down the coast from the island’s existing Ani estate, which is located above Little Bay on the northern beach.
The estate is intended for exclusive usage and will have a guest-to-staff ratio of 1:1.
This made it “perfect for special occasion travel, multi-generational travel, groups of friends, and destination weddings,” according to chief executive Yeshi Phuntso.
“With the success of our current properties, and the demand for private retreats continuing to rise, we see an ideal opportunity to expand the brand,” he added.
All-inclusive vacations will include lodging, meals, spa services, excursions, and kid’s activities. In addition to going on sunset boat rides and local guided tours, guests can enroll in cooking workshops, dance classes, cultural performances, and personal training sessions.
Additionally, Tim Reynolds, the founder of the company, supports regional Ani Art Academies through all of the Ani resorts. They urge visitors to visit the academies while they are there, and they provide free four-year art skills education to locals who are interested in becoming artists.
The Ani portfolio also includes a residence on a secluded peninsula on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, another on the Thai island of Koh Yao Noi, and a five-acre resort on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Up to 20 or 30 people can stay in each of Ani’s private villa estates’ 10 to 15 apartments.
