With 26 daily flights beginning in April, American Airlines will this year provide its “biggest-ever” summer schedule from Heathrow.
Three daily flights have been introduced with increased frequencies to the two hubs of Los Angeles and Charlotte.
American will fly to 11 different gateways from London in total, claiming to be the largest US airline at Heathrow.
“Travel to and from the US and England is increasing in popularity, and we are thrilled to be able to cater to the growing demand from passengers,” said Rhett Workman, American’s managing director – strategic performance and UK operations.
This summer, the airline will operate four daily flights to JFK, Chicago, and Dallas-Fort Worth, its primary hub. Philadelphia and Miami will each receive twice-daily service.
Additionally, daily flights will be offered to Boston, Phoenix, Raleigh-Durham, and Seattle.
