Beginning on 3rd April, Ambassador Cruise Line will no longer require Covid-19 testing prior to most of its sailings.
Adult passengers must have two vaccines in order to board, although they are no longer required to have taken a test or have a booster shot.
Children are not required to take a test or have received any vaccinations.
The line stated that the adjustment was made after “careful consideration and discussions with independent advisors and London Port Health Authority”.
It stated that travelers are advised to conduct a test at home if they exhibit any Covid-19 symptoms within 72 hours after departure “as a courtesy to their fellow travellers”.
For longer-duration voyages offered by Ambassador, like the 120-night Grand Round the Globe Cruise Ambience in 2024, the requirements can be different. The operator promised to get in touch with passengers who had reservations on the impacted trips soon.
