Allianz to Provide Complimentary Lounge Access for Delays

Collinson, a global provider of lounge passes such as Priority Pass, and Allianz Partners, a provider of travel insurance and assistance services, have partnered to provide complimentary access to airport lounges globally to Allyz Premium and Freemium members during flight delays. Allyz members whose flights are delayed by more than 60 minutes or 120 minutes, depending on their membership level, will receive automatic notification for complimentary access to one of over 1,200 lounges in 500+ airports in over 100 countries, thanks to the collaboration. Allyz members and up to five visitors can take advantage of this benefit.

Allyz is a new digital platform from Allianz Partners that provides clients with a one-stop-shop for safety, security, health, and travel services from a variety of partners to make their journey easier before and during their travels. Allyz members can sign up on the specific website, which is available in three countries: Germany, Spain, and France.

Allyz Premium and Freemium members will be able to wait for their delayed flight in the luxury of an airport lounge with SmartDelay, regardless of their ticket type.

If your flight is delayed for an hour or longer, Allyz Premium clients will have access to the lounge, while Freemium users will have access if their flight is delayed for two hours or more. Members can bring up to five visitors with them to take advantage of the same privileges, allowing family and friends to stay together while waiting for their flight.
