Prior to the summer season, Airelles has announced a variety of renovations and new experiences at its hotels in Saint Tropez and Provence.
The brand has introduced a new French road trip experience that includes stops at three of its properties in the South of France: the exclusive Le Grand Contrôle within the grounds of the Palace of Versailles; La Bastide in Gordes’ hilltop village; and Château de la Messardière in Saint Tropez.
The seven-night all-inclusive road trip package includes full-board accommodations, a picnic hamper filled with local delicacies upon departure, valet parking, and a car wash service.
Stays between 5th May and 30th June and 1st September to 16th October are eligible for the deal. Prices begin at £10,070.
Château de le Messardière, which reopened as an Airelles hotel in 2021 after a two-year refurbishment, will also offer a variety of additional guest experiences until 16th October 2022.
A children’s circus academy, team games Archery Tag and Bubble Football, an educational gardening session, and guided horseback riding through the 25-acre grounds are among the new activities added to the nineteenth-century property’s Summer Camp for kids.
The Summer Camp is located in a newly constructed villa that includes a cinema, tree house, climbing frame, arcade, and video games area with a virtual reality chair.
Calligraphy, origami, postcard-making, lava lamp production, and ceramics are among the arts and crafts available, while water polo and aquatic basketball will be played in a dedicated children’s pool. Ping pong, volleyball, badminton, and basketball are also available.
All Airelles Saint-Tropez guests, including families staying at sister hotel Pan De Palais in the village center, have access to the Summer Camp.
It will be open to external guests on a membership basis this year. Children aged four and up can purchase full-day, weekend, or full-week memberships, which include access to a lunch and supper menu, afternoon tea, soft drinks, and a variety of outdoor and indoor activities.
Château de le Messardière has inaugurated a unique personalized private-dining experience within the hotel’s vegetable garden, in addition to its enhanced children’s facilities. Airelles’ head chef Marco Garfagnini will lead the al fresco Chef’s Table experience, which will feature a bespoke cuisine for up to 12 guests made with locally sourced vegetables.
Airelles Gordes, La Bastide, which reopens for the summer season on April 28, will also add a new Ladurée café to its gastronomic offering. The Provencal-style café will be located in the village center, next to the hotel’s trattoria-style La Bastide de Pierres, which will have a shop, bar, seated indoor dining space, and an outdoor terrace with views of Gordes Castle.
Finally, Château d’Estoublon, an upscale rental property, has introduced a new landscape garden design, as well as an expanded terrace for alfresco dinners and gatherings and a new poolside yoga platform where private sessions may be booked.
Les Airelles in Courchevel, Airelles Val d’Isère, and Château d’Estoublon in Les Baux-de-Provence are all part of the Airelles collection. A property in Venice, which is set to open in 2023 and will be the brand’s first property outside of France, is one of the projects in the works.
