Gatwick-to-Montreal and Toronto service will be expanded by Air Transat this summer.
In addition to resuming its seasonal weekly direct trip to Quebec City, the airline will enhance its service by flying daily flights to Montreal and Toronto as well as double-daily flights there.
As the only direct flight from the UK to the Canadian city, the latter service will run between 24th June and 17th September.
Sonia Kurek, the commercial director for the UK and Ireland, stated: “We are delighted to see passenger levels continuing to grow, even after 35 years of operating transatlantic flights to Canada. Sonia Kurek continues, “Air Transat is well placed to satisfy the demand for travellers from the South East with increased frequencies for 2023. Passengers flying from Gatwick can also take advantage of onward connections across Air Transat’s network throughout Canada, and onto Florida and California in the US.”
The expanded summer programs will be available through the end of October when the winter schedule will take effect.
