Following the shutdown of Terminal 4 due to the pandemic, Aero France and KLM have moved flights to Heathrow Terminal 3 after temporarily flying from Terminal 2.
Passengers will be able to enter and depart from the same terminal as Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic, which are SkyTeam alliance partners.
Passengers traveling between planes to North America inside the same terminal will have less time to connect.
Passengers will also be able to go to downtown London via the Heathrow Express, which will depart immediately from Terminal 3.
Customers of Air France and KLM will also have access to the No 1 Lounge in Terminal 3 if they are eligible.
Air France and KLM currently offer 63 weekly flights from Heathrow to Paris and Amsterdam.
“We are very thrilled to begin flying from Terminal 3,” said UK and Ireland general manager Fahmi Mahjoub.
“This move brings us and our partners, Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic, closer together under one roof, and will enhance the customer experience, particularly for our transatlantic passengers,” says the company.
