Air Canada’s summer transatlantic flights from Edinburgh and Manchester will resume in June of next year.
The announcement came as the airline released its summer 2022 itinerary for Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and India.
In addition to established year-round routes to London and Dublin, the airline is resuming summer seasonal service to Barcelona, Venice, Nice, and Reykjavik.
Seasonal flights to Athens, Rome, and Lisbon restarted in 2021 and will continue next spring, along with a recently launched flight to Cairo.
Mark Galardo, senior vice president of network planning and revenue management, stated: “As we continue to rebuild our global network, Air Canada is excited to plan its return to these popular leisure destinations across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, offering its customers to explore the world again.
“Our schedule will enable convenient onward travel through our Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary hubs to and from our global destinations.”
