Next winter, Air Canada will provide a temporary service from Heathrow to Mumbai.
The daily flight will depart from Toronto on 29th October and is aimed at the large number of Canadian residents who have connections to India.
The flight, according to Mark Galardo, the airline’s senior vice president of network planning and revenue management, was a temporary measure in the immediate post-pandemic period.
Galardo said, “The India market remains very important to Air Canada, and we are committed to resuming our currently paused non-stop services on Toronto-Mumbai and Vancouver-Delhi when circumstances allow.”
The Mumbai flight will be operated by a three-class Boeing 787.
