From August, Air Canada will fly up to four times a week between Montreal and London and daily between Vancouver and the UK capital. The airline announced the details of its next international schedule, which includes the restart of 17 flights and 11 destinations across the globe.
The Montreal-Heathrow service will reopen on 3rd August, and capacity on the Vancouver-Heathrow route, which has already reopened, will be increased next month. From 1st August, three weekly flights between Toronto and Dublin will be resumed on the international schedule.
The program also includes flights from Toronto to Athens, Dubai, Rome, Lisbon, Vienna, Paris, and Zurich, as well as flights from Montreal to Casablanca, Athens, Rome, Geneva, Tel Aviv, and Lisbon, as well as a flight from Calgary to Frankfurt. Some will reopen on the new dates, while others that have already reopened will see an increase in capacity.
Air Canada’s senior vice president of network planning and revenue management, Mark Galardo, said: “As travel restrictions ease across the globe, we are committed to rebuild our international network and continue as a global carrier to connect Canada to the world, while also developing additional markets and targeting new opportunities.”
If an airline cancels or reschedules a flight by more than three hours, customers have the option of receiving a full refund, an Air Canada Travel Voucher, or the same value in Aeroplan Points with a 65 percent bonus.
