A new route created by AE Expeditions aims to travel to Greenland’s farthest north.
On 15th August, its ship, The Greg Mortimer, will set out from Reykjavik on the 14-day East Greenland Exploration route.
Depending on weather and ice conditions, the program aims to go north to Kronprins Christian Land, where the expedition team will plan each day’s activities in accordance with “conditions and animal opportunities.”
The statement that the place “pushes the boundaries of discovery to deliver unique, immersive experiences for its expeditioners” is supported by the addition that the area “is not frequented by expedition ships.”
The vacation starts at £9,265 for two adults traveling together in a Stateroom Twin room and includes all meals, cocktails with supper, all shore excursions, lectures, and transportation.
With reservations made by February 28th, savings of up to £1,000 per person are available.
Chief marketing officer Hayley Peacock Gower said: “Aurora Expeditions continues to focus on increasing awareness of the thought-provoking, and inspiring regions it visits, through immersive and educational experiences and create lifelong advocates of our planet.”
