Adora Cruises’ New Cruise Ship to Feature a Theatrical Production Onboard

“Marco Polo: an Untold Love Story,” a brand-new theatrical production play, will make its premiere onboard Adora Cruises’ first cruise ship to be built in China when it departs later this year.

The event, developed in collaboration with Selection International Entertainment, will feature performances made for audiences of all ages that will allow them to experience the culture of the historic Silk Road, according to a release.

A performance of “Marco Polo: an Untold Love Tale” will take place in the Metropol Theater, which can accommodate about 1,000 people.

A muse inspires Marco Polo throughout his journey, which concludes in a love tale, in the musical, which is based on the travels of the Venetian explorer Marco Polo, who traveled across China along the Silk Road.

While a second ship is now being constructed, the Adora Cruises ship will be tailored for Chinese consumers and is scheduled to make its debut by the end of 2023.
