Prior to the busiest time of year for winter sun holidays, have been relaxed.
The Gulf state did away with the need that visitors register their Covid vaccination status or submit to PCR tests prior to arrival.
The official UAE Al Hosn Covid-19 app no longer requires visitors to have a “green pass” status demonstrating they have undergone frequent PCR tests and have been completely immunized in order to enter hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, and theme parks.
On the other hand, anyone who tests positive for Covid-19 must isolate for five days.
“Now it’s easier than ever to enjoy the variety of enriching experiences in Abu Dhabi, all available just moments apart,” thechri Department of Culture and Tourism said.
The regulations were loosened as the emirate launched its new Experience Abu Dhabi marketing initiative to draw tourists.
The adjustment followed the culture and tourism department’s signing of a one-year agreement with the bed bank Hotelbeds to encourage tour operators to showcase Abu Dhabi as a premier vacation destination in important and developing markets.
The alliance also provides chances for cooperation on roadshows, meetings with travel partners, and projects to promote Abu Dhabi’s attractions and events.
The emirate is also hosting 100 days of athletic, family-friendly, musical, and entertainment events.
On 30th November, the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will take place.
