Abercrombie & Kent has added four new itineraries in Europe, Africa, and the South Pacific to its luxury expedition cruise lineup for 2023-24.
The new Adriatic Voyage: Croatia, Montenegro, and Greece itinerary departs from Venice on 20th September 2023, and includes stops in Split and Dubrovnik, Montenegro’s Kotor, and Greece’s Corfu and Athens.
The European Coastal Cruise: Portugal, Spain, and France vacation is also brand new in Europe, with a nine-day itinerary that includes Porto’s wine country, Santiago de Compostela, Bilbao’s Guggenheim Museum, Mont Saint Michel, and London.
A&K’s vice-president of expedition cruising, Bob Simpson, said: “We have seen such strong interest in the Mediterranean this year – our Greece cruise quickly filled up – that we’ve planned a series of cruises next fall that can seamlessly be combined into one 28-day Grand Mediterranean Voyage.
“Beginning with a cruise along nearly the entire navigable coast of Italy, guests add our new Adriatic voyage to Croatia and Montenegro and then end with Greece and lesser-known gems, including Patmos, Delos and Syros.”
Cruising the Seychelles & Coastal Tanzania, a 14-day cruise from Zanzibar to Mahe, and French Polynesia to Easter Island Expedition, a two-week voyage from Papeete to Easter Island, are the other new additions.
For each journey, A&K will rent a small expedition ship with a capacity of around 80%.
Simpson continued, “Our expedition cruises are designed around engaging cultural exchanges, surprising wildlife encounters and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, led by the most accomplished scientists and native cultural experts from the communities we visit.”
