Before boarding its ships, A-Rosa River Cruises no longer requires passengers to show proof of vaccination, recovery, or a certified negative test result.
The move, according to the airline, is the next major step in relaxing health and hygiene protocols across its fleet.
The only exception will be passengers on the A-Rosa Alva sailing on the Douro in Portugal, where regional regulations still require guests over the age of 12 to provide proof of full vaccination.
They can also provide proof of recovery from Covid-19 in order to participate in the cruise.
Furthermore, prior to boarding, passengers must wear face masks and submit to a rapid antigen test.
The line removed its mask mandate and rapid antigen test requirement for other cruises last month.
Extended cleaning and disinfection protocols, for example, remain in place on A-ships Rosa’s to ensure hygiene standards are met.
